CARVER TEACHING INITIATIVE AT IUPUI

Committed to Diversifying the STEM Teaching Workforce

The George W. Carver Teaching Initiative (CTI) at IUPUI is a scholarship and career development program dedicated to the recruitment, retention, and support of high-achieving, underrepresented minority, college students in STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) teaching careers. The primary goal of the Carver Teaching Initiative is to prepare CTI scholars to serve urban students through socially transformative approaches to STEM education.
